Places in the OC to ring in 2015 with an amazing dinner!

Outgrown your party days but still want to celebrate the new year w a memorable dinner? Well, here's the list for you -- these are some amazing menus I've either ran across while trying to make my own plans or ones that I've had sent to me that I thought were blog-worthy. Keep in mind these are places that may or may not be having a NYE party after dinner but is more for those who are looking for somewhere to have a festive dinner and then celebrate the midnight hour at home or elsewhere. There are lots of other all night events going on in the OC but those aren't included here as not the intent of this list.

Now, onto the list.. (in no particular order, of course!)

The Ranch in Anaheim - $75 for a 4 course dinner crafted by award winning Chef Michael Rossi. NYE menu here: http://goo.gl/zMpUdP

Anepalco in Orange - $75 for a 6 course dinner at this still somewhat new but shining French-Mexican option in the OC.  NYE menu here: http://goo.gl/G9ODAv

Tamarind of London in Newport Beach - $72 for a 3 course dinner of some of the best (IMHO) Indian food in the area. If you're looking for a nontraditional NYE menu that still tastes amazing then this may be your best option OC. NYE menu here: http://goo.gl/naz4bM

Bistro Blue in Anaheim - $75 for a 4 course dinner. BB is one of my fave hidden gems. It's not much to look at it from the exterior but the food and decor will make you feel like you've stumbled upon a misplaced French bistro in the OC. This is a great choice for those who prefer a smaller more intimate venue. NYE menu here: http://goo.gl/57YW6u

Little Sparrow in downtown Santa Ana - $90 for 4 courses or 6 courses w champagne for $125. If you haven't been to one of the highest rated newer restaurants in the OC then maybe NYE is the time to try it.  It's become one of my local favs. NYE menu here: http://goo.gl/qUuIqk

Pinot Provence in Santa Ana (South Coast Metro area) - $65 for 3 course or $78 for 4 courses. PP never fails to provide a fabulous experience and the NYE menu looks pretty amazing. Ck it out here:  http://goo.gl/4efDvH

For the south county folks who don't want to venture north, there's also quite a few good options:

Selanne's Steak Tavern - $115 for early 5 course dinner seating/$145 for 8:30 5 course dinner seating.  Selanne's has quickly risen to be on of the top OC contenders for steak in the OC and the NYE menu includes some great options.  http://goo.gl/xr6YF2

Wineworks and/or Dublin4 Gastropub in Mission Viejo - $88 for early 3 course seating or $98 for the late 3 course dinner seating w champagne and live music. This is a great option for those seeking a slightly more casual yet intimate setting w great choices for both food and wine. http://goo.gl/ADuUln

If I missed one and you think it's special enough to be included then please feel free to email it to me.

Whereever you end up spending your NYE2015 I wish you a Happy New Year and lots of great food and drink adventures in the new year! Cheers!
