The 1st Duck Donuts in California is NOW Open!

It's open! 

North Carolina institution Duck Donuts opened it's 1st west coast location this weekend in Huntington Beach! Owned by Gary Kopel and Minal Mehta, the new store is located in the Five Points Shopping Center at 18591 Main Street in HB - near the intersection of Beach & Ellis.

Originating in North Carolina with a vast following, Duck Donuts is bringing delicious made-to-order donuts to the OC! 

We’re talking warm fresh donuts where YOU pick the glaze, the toppings, the drizzles, etc and they have a ton to choose from so be prepared to get creative! 

Favorites include maple bacon and cinnamon sugar but the options are endless...

In addition to donuts, Duck Donuts also serves four signature coffee blends, teas, espresso, donut sundaes (decadent!), as well as lots of adorable duck items! 

 

If you're in a hurry, online orders are also available on their website, including for their yummy coffees too. They also do catering and can customize their donuts to any theme, colors, etc.  

Open 8-5pm this weekend and then regular hours starting Monday, July 16th will be 6am - 9pm.

Las Brisas NEW Patio Menu!

It's summer, and that means outdoor dining w a view at Las Brisas! 

The fabulous Las Brisas is starting off summer with a NEW patio menu with lots of great options to enjoy while cooling of with the ocean breezes. A Laguna Beach institution that has attracted locals and visitors alike for many years since it's inception in 1979, Las Brisas serves up cuisine inspired by Mexico’s Coastal region with a California twist. 

If you've been to Las Brisas then you know they're known for their gorgeous ocean views. Situated on the cliffs about Laguna Beach, outdoor dining doesn't get more picturesque than here.  

The new patio menu has something for everyone from the freshest oysters on the half shell to four different kinds of taco trios including ahi tuna, short rib, chicken tinga and even a vegetarian option of roasted portobellos. 

I love a good burger and Las Brisas offers a pretty delicious Mexican themed Brisas Burger. Loaded with nueske bacon, roasted green chiles, charred scallion aioli and pepperjack cheese the flavors are on point for freshness with a slight  kick.  

Another standout on the new menu is  the almost to gorgeous to eat Seafood Cocktail. Stuffed with shrimp, crab, octopus, and oyster all mixed in a spicy cocktail sauce. You can taste the freshness of the seafood in every bite! 

Las Brisas also (of course!) offers an amazing array of cocktails including their namesake Laguna Pearl Martini made with Patron tequilia is the perfect refreshing compliment to the coastal Mexican offerings.
